So, I’m back from London, and quite honestly, I’m a little sad.
I had SUCH an amazing time in the city that as soon as I got home I googled “how to move to London” and made plans to return in a few months.
Yes, I’m hooked.
Perhaps it was the newness of being across an ocean and in charge of my own ish, not bound by other folk’s plans or timeframe, or maybe it’s because I met some of the dopest people I’ve come across in a long time. But my time in London was nothing short of magical.
Was it cold? Yes! But apparently the weather was unseasonably warm and it only rained twice. However, I didn’t let the chilly weather stop me, though. I saw EVERYTHING I could possibly see in 8 days, so much so even the locals were impressed. I took buses, I took trains, I walked, I hopped in a cab, I saw the ‘hood, and where the wealthy live. I was all over London and back so much so that I could even navigate the tricky night buses with ease (and believe me, this is BIG).
And you know what? I’ve totally been bitten by the travel bug. I have decided that I’ll go to Costa Rica this year, and much like the other things that have manifested in my life, I’ll get there. You just wait.
Many of you have asked about where I stayed, what I did, who I met…all of that will be coming soon (promise). I’m going to try to do a video (I shot some footage around London & Paris) to give you a glimpse of my trip, so stay tuned, but just know ya girl had the time of her LIFE.
Have you ever been to London? Ever went on a trip that changed your life?
*ps: peep my Facebook page for a few of the pics from Paris.
